John Seckel has created, owned, operated, participated and/or been the CMO (or fractional CMO) in a number of 7, 8 and 9 figure companies in which he created and executed the Marketing Strategy directly responsible for the entity’s success. Known for being able to quickly (but responsibly) scale a business from startup to $20M in revenue and up, John has deployed thousands of marketing campaigns across all facets eCommerce and small and medium business industries which makes him a leading expert to help grow your brand.
John Seckel graduated from Northeastern University in December of 2003 with a dual degree in Business Administration and also Management Information Systems. He graduated early from a 5-year program. Following school, John Seckel accepted a position at Wachovia Corporation starting as an Analyst and after only a short time at Wachovia, John found himself being promoted to the youngest Vice President of Credit Products and International Investment Banking in Wachovia history. For two years, John was involved in the underwriting, risk analysis and marketing strategy for the mergers behind several large corporations. During his several years there, he was awarded for his strategy, underwriting, customer service and risk analysis on a $825MM M&A Deal.
John Seckel is a very experienced and awarded entrepreneur. He enjoys Skiing, Tennis, Pickleball and is an amateur car racer on the weekends. John is also President of The Seckel Foundation which gives back to local community and mentors young aspiring entrepreneurs to work hard, plan appropriately, create jobs and promotes work/life balance with fiscal freedom. Over the course of his career, John continues to find industry gaps and create solutions through his multiple business ventures. He is a passionate problem solver and innovator who never backs down from a challenge.

Simona brings 13 years of experience in operations, startup consulting, product development, management, and team leadership to EMA. She worked with dozens of organizations during periods of high growth, providing operational auditing and business development expertise. Simona focuses on growing and mentoring cross-functional teams, implementing technology and systems, creating performance metrics, operational processes, and ensuring that all teams work toward individual and company-wide goals.
Originally from Vilnius, Lithuania, she has lived in NYC for the last 20 years. Simona spent her formative years studying piano, tennis and graduated with a degree in Psychology and Marketing. In her spare time, she hikes, meditates, travels with her kids, and cooks. She speaks 4 languages and is an avid abstract painter.
Josh Stephans is EMA’s Creative Director, holding almost a decade of experience in graphic design, illustration, digital media and brand theory. Over the years he has worked with a diverse spectrum of clients including local non profits, nationally distributed craft distilleries, popular restaurants and globally recognized corporations. He specializes in crafting eye catching designs built on rock solid marketing strategies. When Josh isn’t leading EMA’s clients to branding success, he enjoys running, biking, fly fishing, woodworking and all kinds of cooking.

Tricia brings over 15 years of digital marketing, strategy, branding, lead generation, and social media experience to EMA. Tricia has worked with businesses across various industries, including real estate, mortgage, and financial services. Specializing in helping companies grow their digital presence, connect with their audience, increase their brand awareness, generate leads, and drive traffic to their website with a customized high-level marketing strategy.
Tricia received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Management, and a minor in Accounting; she then earned her Masters of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado. With a love of all things marketing and strategy related, Tricia expands her knowledge through online programs, podcasts, and mentors.
When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, exploring Colorado’s mountains, hiking, skiing, yoga, and reading copious amounts of books.

As the Vice President of Sales, Laura brings almost 20 years of customer success focused sales and marketing experience to EMA. After receiving her degree in International Marketing from Goldsmiths College in London UK, she embarked on a career focused on driving results and exceeding goals through customer relationship development.
Whether on the sales or marketing side of the business, Laura believes in listening first, and developing plans for success based on each clients’ unique set of needs and goals. This approach has allowed her to garner years of experience in National and International Sales and Marketing, for companies ranging from start-ups to global juggernauts in their respective fields.
This professional experience combines perfectly with Laura’s passion for travel, adventure, and cultural immersion experiences. When she isn’t traveling, Laura loves to go to enjoy live music, fitness, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Jazymne Williams has worked in the client relations and marketing field for over 8 years. Her career began in the banking and insurance industry for Direct Marketing departments. She’s had the opportunity to live in China for a short while and work with organizations such as the WNBA, American Cancer Society and more. Jazymne also attended the University of South Florida in Tampa FL and continued on to receive her MBA in Small Business and Digital Operations from Strayer University. She loves helping people, working for a cause, and making “big picture” goals a reality.

For the last 10 years, Amber has dedicated much of her work to business development and marketing strategy for Startup companies. She has a passion for helping brands grow and understands that each company needs a unique, strategic approach. Amber has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media and Communications from The University of Central Missouri. She is certified in Google Analytics as well as Google Adwords, and enjoys graphic design and content creation. In 2019, she was recognized as one of Erie Pennsylvania’s 40 people under 40 for her work with local businesses and philanthropic efforts. Amber spends most of her free time spoiling her pit-bull rescue pups, cooking, and watching true crime or historical documentaries.

Tanner has a long background in helping small businesses successfully grow and expand to the next level particularly in the areas of Real Estate, Project Planning and Online Education Platforms.
She graduated from Stetson University in December of 2004 with a BA in Psychology.
Tanner is an avid traveller and has lived in 4 countries and 6 US States. She enjoys Volleyball, Gourmet Cooking, Entrepreneurship, living by the water and is a self-proclaimed documentary nerd.

Christopher Branch is the lead tech here at EMA and has been worked in the Web development field for about 9 years now. Before joining the EMA team in May 2020, Chris designed and developed for a bunch of different clients such as Autozone, ButcherBox, NFL alumni, and hundreds of businesses across the country. Chris’s ability to handle a heavy workload, plus his wide range of knowledge of technology puts him in a class of his own. When he’s not building websites Chris spends his spare time, playing basketball, travelling, electric biking, and spending quality time with his family.

And once he started to understand that you can provide a beautiful customer experience (with very minimal manual intervention) he found a place where he could implement these amazing strategies.
